Super Easy Hot Chocolate Mix Recipe

Hot cocoa bombs are fancy and delicious, but they take a little bit of prep work. I love making dry hot chocolate mix instead if I’m short on time.

This recipe is so easy to make and very allergy friendly. It doesn’t include dairy, so most anyone can have it. Just be cautious of nut allergies.

Ingredients

All you need to do is mix the following together and fill it into jars:

  • 1.5 cups cocoa powder
  • 2 cups sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon (optional)

Directions to Make

When you make a cup of cocoa with it, just mix 2-3 tablespoons into 1 cup of warm liquid.

Then, top it with any fun toppings for the perfect finishing touch.

Tips To Make

  • Double the batch and fill up 10 pint sized mason jars.
  • Tie extra toppings with the label like a candy cane or a small baggie of marshmallows.
  • You can add 1 cup of powdered milk if you’re looking for a creamier mixture.
  • Give the mix along side a cute mug for an extra special gift.
  • Tie plastic spoons to the jars.
